NFC Tag Writer

⚠ This browser can't write tags

Writing from the web needs the Web NFC API, which is Chrome/Edge on Android only — Apple has never shipped it, so no iPhone browser can write tags. To write, you need:

Chrome / Edge on Android
A secure context — HTTPS, or localhost on the scanning device
NFC turned on in system settings

📱 On iPhone, reading still works with no app — just tap a tag that holds a URL (or tel:/mailto:) and iOS opens it. Write those from an Android phone here, and every iPhone can use them.

iOS ⚠ needs an app to read Plain text

Android reads text on tap. iPhones read the bytes but show no action for plain text — use URL if iPhone users must see it.

iOS + Android ✓ opens on tap Link or action

The universal type — a plain tap opens it on both iPhone and Android, no app. Also accepts tel:, mailto:, sms:, geo: for call / email / text / maps actions.
